We love learning on our home and try to make it as much fun as possible. In our play zone / homeschooling zone space is limited so we streamline and organize as much as we can into the space that we have. Here is a video to show you how we’ve set up our school task area. I love Dollar Tree for most organizational items especially their laminated wipe sheets that can be used again and again.
Below are some pictures of our learning space. We have an open floor area that changes depending upon our project for the day.
This is our main school task space. It acts as our to-do list for curriculim. You can get a copy of our seasonal bundle on the main home page. It changes per season.
Reading is huge in our home. Our bookshelf acts as not only a central library, but also a quiet space. We bring out large pillows and have reading time each day. We start out reading a book and then have the Little’s ‘read’ a story as well. Our kids are just learning their letters so we mostly have them infer or deduce what is happening based on the images and facial expressions of each character.
This is our primary learning wall. We have motivation along the top and activities along the bottom including chalk board, wipe board, learning map and magnet fun.
Each of our kids + mom and dad (classroom) have a drawer. This helps keep us organized and gives the Little’s a space they can keep projects, their personal journals and and binders.
This is our Busy Brain Bin closet that holds all of our supplies and of course busy play items.
How do you have your homeschooling space set up? I would love to hear from you.
I believe we can all learn from ea h other and no one does the same set up the same way. How do you organize your kid spaces? I would love to hear from you! Post a pic of your learning / homeschool zone.
